The next stage in the military pay scale is the ” Sergeant Major”. At the top of this ladder is“Colonel” ” Colonel”. In addition, the salaries for Specialties increase in every couple of years. You need to be in the top twenty percent of your enlistment class in order to earn the pay grade of Specialized.
