The next level in the pay scale for military personnel is the ” Sergeant Major”. At the top of this rank is“Colonel” ” Colonel”. When you reach the rank of Colonel, you become a General and will have responsibility for your entire army and entire staff. In this position it is also possible to earn the most salary per day. At higher levels, you can expect to receive the most number of of paid leave per month.

Pay increase at this level are based on the military cost of living index. This is a way to keep track of the rate of inflation of living expenses. When a region has a high index, the cost of living is likely to be higher than when the Index is not high. This causes an increase in the pay for military members who have a high education and received similar promotions and increases similar to those at lower pay levels. For those who have promotions in jobs that are not in their pay grade receive no increment.

Officers with commissioning and enlisted receive an advancement to a Warrant Officer. The pay they receive when they reach this level is determined by their actual commission score, which is usually above that of their real star. Higher ranks of command like Colonel both enlisted and commissioned officers will be entitled to being promoted to Colonel. When they are upgraded to Colonel, all officers commissioned will be eligible for general promotion. This means that those who’ve earlier been promoted to General will be capable of being promoted to Vice Captain or a Major.

The pay increases for Specialties increases every two years. It is necessary to be in the top 20 percent of your class to be promoted to a Specialized pay grade. These pay grades include Technician Radio Technician Computer Networking Specialist, and Information Technology Specialist. Those with any of these specialty pay grades can apply to become surgeon technician or Medical Assistant, once they’ve reached the minimum number or years in service, and have achieved the level of promotion required.
