The next level in the military pay scale is called the ” Sergeant Major”. The topmost level is called“Colonel” ” Colonel”. If you are a Colonel, you are a general and will be accountable for the entire military and the whole staff. In this position, you will also receive the most salary per day. In higher ranks, you can expect to receive the most number of paid days of holidays per year.
Pay rises at this point are calculated based on the army cost of employment. This allows you to accommodate for the increase of living expenses. When a region has an index of high value, the cost of living will be expected to be more expensive than when the cost index falls. This can result in an increase in the salaries of military personnel who are educated and have were promoted and received pay increments that are similar to those in lower pay grades. For those who have promotions in posts below their pay grade receive no increment.
Officers with in the enlisted and commissioned ranks receive the opportunity to be promoted to Warrant Officer. The amount they are paid at this rank is determined by the actual rating of their commission that is generally higher than the grade of their current star. When they reach higher levels of the command like Colonel both commissioned, and enlisted officers can receive the rank of Colonel. After an upgrade to a Colonel, all officers who are commissioned will be eligible for general promotion. Therefore, those who have had a previous promotion to General will be eligible for promotions to Vice Captain or a Major.
Also, the increments in pay for Specialties rise in every couple of years. It is necessary to be among the top 20 percent of your class to be promoted to an Advanced pay grade. The pay grades are Technician Radio Technician, Computer Networking Specialist as well as Information Technology Specialist. Individuals who hold any of these pay levels could apply to be a surgeon technician or Medical Assistant after they’ve completed the necessary number that have served in the past and have attained the necessary promotion level.
