An index of cost of employment establishes what is known as the U.S. military pay scale known as“the Allowable Rate. The index is determined by looking at the demands for enlisted personnel or permanent employees, as well as temporary military retirees for 100 active-duty soldiers. After considering these parameters The rate is then adjusted so that it is based on the requirements for strength of each of these groups to guarantee an adequate workforce. This method is used in order to set a basic military pay which is then utilized in every branch.

The U.S army has its own ranking procedure in force. The ranks are established from the rank of First Lieutenant, and beyond and comprise officers such as Lieutenants, Colonels, sergeants, and majors. In the army, there are three levels listed from the top to the lowest at the bottom of the rank chain. They are known as the “major”, “first lieutenant,” and “second lieutenant”.

The pay scale that is used in the army is First Major, First Lieutenant, Second Lieutenant and further on. It ranks individuals in various areas of work in the different branches in the military. For instance, people with lower ranks in military units like the Marine Corps will be considered Officers in Reserve or Officers Regular. While those with higher rank are classified as Officers Special or Specialists. In addition, individuals in the Air Force will be considered Officers Air Recruits, while those in the Navy are classified as Officers Navy or Officers Waterman.

The next level in the pay scale for military personnel is the ” Sergeant Major”. The topmost rank is“Colonel” ” Colonel”. As a Colonel, will be promoted to General and will oversee the entire military and the whole staff. As a Colonel it is also possible to earn the most salary per day. If you are promoted to higher levels, you can expect to receive an increased number of paid days of leave per month.

Pay increments at this level are calculated based on the army cost of labor index. This allows you to reflect the increasing of costs of living. When an area is characterized by an index of high value, the cost of living will be expected to be much more than when the cost Index is not high. This results in an increase in the pay for military members who have high educational qualifications and enjoyed similar promotions as well as pay increases similar to those at lower pay grades. Personnel who are promoted to jobs that are not in their pay grade receive no additional pay.

Officers that are both commissioned and enlisted rank receive an increase to the rank of Warrant Officer. The salary they earn when they reach this level is determined by their actual commission ratings and is typically above that of their real star. When they reach higher levels of the command that include Colonels, both enlisted and commissioned officers will be entitled to a promotion to a Colonel. Once they have been upgraded to Colonel, all officers commissioned can be promoted to general. That means, those who’ve previously been promoted to a General are eligible for promotions to Vice Captain or Major.

The pay increases for Specialties increase approximately every two years. You must be among the top 20 percent of your enlistment class in order to earn an advanced pay grade. The pay grades are Technician, Radio Technician, Computer Networking Specialist, and Information Technology Specialist. If you have one of these pay grade specializations can apply to become surgical technician or Medical Assistant, after they’ve completed the necessary number to years working and have reached the required promotion level.
