Army Pay Scale E7 – The U.S. Military PayScale is the salary scale that is used for all members of the Armed forces. U.S. military pay scales are used as a primary measurement tool for determining personnel compensation. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps are the branches that employ the military pay scale. Each of these branches have specific requirements that determine their pay grade. This includes bonuses and a special pay considerations for seniority.
The index for employment costs establishes this U.S. military pay scale known as the Allowable Rate. The index is found through the analysis of the amount of enlisted members as well as permanent personnel and temporary military retirees for 100 active-duty soldiers. After analyzing these elements to determine the appropriate rate, it is adjusted to create a figure that will be based on the needs of each of these groups to ensure that there is a sufficient number of workers. This technique is used to create a basic military wage that is later applied in each branch.
The U.S army has its own ranking procedure in force. The ranks are established by the First Lieutenant or above and include officers like Lieutenants, Colonels, sergeants, and majors. Within the army, three levels are placed from top to bottom in the chain of command. They are called the “major”, “first lieutenant,” and “second lieutenant”.
The other pay scale used in the army is First Major First Lieutenant, Second Lieutenant, and other ranks. This ranks the people working in different specialties within the different wings in the military. For instance, people with lower ranks in those in the Marine Corps will be considered Officers in Reserve or Officers Regular. In contrast, upper-ranked individuals are classified as Specialists or Officers Special. Additionally, those who are in the Air Force will be considered Officers Air Recruits and those in the Navy will be regarded as Officers Navy or Officers Waterman.
The next step up the pay scale for military personnel is the ” Sergeant Major”. At the top of this rank is the ” Colonel”. At Colonel rank, you become a General and will oversee the entire military and entire staff. At this rank, you will also receive the most pay per day. At higher levels, can expect to receive an increased number of of paid time off per calendar month.
Pay increases at this rate are dependent on the cost of labor index. This is a way to adjust for the inflation of costs of living. When an area is characterized by one with a high cost index, the costs of living are expected to be greater than when the cost of living index is very low. This leads to an increase in the compensation of military members who are highly educated . They have had similar promotions and increases similar to those at lower pay levels. The ones who are promoted in jobs that are not in their pay grade receive no additional pay.
Officers with in the enlisted and commissioned ranks receive an increase to the rank of Warrant Officer. The pay they receive at this rank is based on their actual commission ratings and is typically above the level of their actual star. Higher ranks of command such as Colonel both commissioned and enlisted officers can be eligible for promotions to Colonel. Once they have been upgraded to Colonel, all officers commissioned can be promoted to general. Therefore, those who have before been promoted as a General are capable of being promoted to a Vice Captain or Major.
The pay increases for Specialties increases at least every 2 years. It is necessary to be in the top twenty percent of your enlistment class to be promoted to a Specialized pay grade. These pay grades include Technician Radio Technician, Computer Networking Specialist as well as Information Technology Specialist. If you have one of these specialty pay grades are eligible to apply for the position of surgical technician, or Medical Assistant when they’ve had the number to years working and completed the required level of promotion.
