An employment cost index establishes that U.S. military pay scale known as“the Allowable Rate. The index is determined by analyzing the demand for enlisted troops as well as permanent personnel and temporary military retirees for 100 active-duty personnel. After considering these parameters then the rate is adjusted in order to produce a figure that considers the strength requirements of each of these groups to guarantee an adequate workforce. This method is used in order to determine a basic military salary that is then applied to every branch.

It is the U.S army has a ranking established system. Its ranks are formulated by the First Lieutenant and above and comprise officers such as sergeants, lieutenants or Colonels and majors. Within the army, there are three levels placed from top to bottom to the top of the line of command. They are known as the “major”, “first lieutenant,” and “second lieutenant”.

The second pay scale used by the army is First Major, First Lieutenant, Second Lieutenant and further on. These pay scales rank people in various areas of service within the different branches of the army. For example, lower-ranked individuals in that section of the Marine Corps will be considered Officers Reserved or Officers Regular. For those who are higher-ranked, they will be classified as Specialists or Officers Special. In addition, those in the Air Force will be considered Officers Air Recruits, while those in the Navy are classified as Officers Navy or Officers Waterman.

The next level in the pay scale of the military is the ” Sergeant Major”. The topmost step is known as“Colonel” ” Colonel”. If you are a Colonel, you become a General and be responsible for the entire military as well as the whole staff. In this position you’ll also be able to receive the most salary per day. At higher levels, you will be able to enjoy a number of days of paid holidays per year.

Pay increases at this point are determined by the military index of cost of employment. This is a method to keep track of the rate of inflation of costs of living. When an area is characterized by an index that is high, then the cost of living will be expected to be significantly higher than when the index falls. This is a reason for an increase the salary of military personnel who have high educational qualifications and had similar promotions and rises as those who are in lower pay levels. Promotions in areas below their paygrade receive no increase.

Officers who hold both a commissioning and enlisted receive an increase to the rank of Warrant Officer. The salary they earn when they reach this level is based on the actual rating of their commission that is generally higher than the level of their actual star. At higher levels of leadership like Colonel both commissioned, and enlisted officers can receive promotions to Colonel. Once they have been upgraded to Colonel, all officers who are commissioned can be promoted to general. Thus, those who have already been elevated to General are qualified to be promoted to a Vice Captain or a Major.
