Army Pay Verification – The U.S. Military PayScale is the basic salary scale used by all personnel in the armed forces. U.S. military pay scales are used as a primary gauge for determining the amount of compensation. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps are the branches which utilize the military pay scale. Each of these branches has specific requirements that determine their pay scale. This includes bonuses, as well as special compensation for seniority.

The next stage in the military pay scale is called the ” Sergeant Major”. The topmost scale is“Colonel” ” Colonel”. In the Colonel rank, you will be promoted to General and be responsible for all military personnel and the whole staff. In this position you also get the highest amount of pay per day. At higher levels, you can expect to receive an increased number of days of paid time off per calendar month.
Pay increase at this level are based on the military cost of living index. This is a method to adjust for the inflation of the cost of living. In areas with an index that is high, the costs of living are expected to be greater than when the cost index is less. This can result in an increase in the amount of pay paid to military personnel who are educated and have enjoyed similar promotions as well as pay raises similar to those of lower pay grades. For those who have promotions in the lower ranks of their pay receive no additional pay.
Officers with commissioning and enlisted receive an advancement to a Warrant Officer. The amount they are paid as a Warrant Officer is based on the commission they receive which is usually greater than the rank of their actual star. Higher ranks of command such as Colonel both commissioned and enlisted officers will be eligible for advancement to the rank of Colonel. After an upgrade to a Colonel, all commissioned officers will qualify for general promotion. For example, those who’ve earlier been promoted to a General will be qualified to be promoted to Vice Captain or Major.
Also, the increments in pay for Specialties go up in every couple of years. It is necessary to be in the top twenty percent of your enlistment class in order to earn the pay grade of Specialized. The pay grades are Technician, Radio Technician, Computer Networking Specialist and Information Technology Specialist. The people who have any of these pay grade specializations could apply to be a surgeon technician or Medical Assistant, once they’ve completed the necessary number to years working and reached the required promotion level.
