An employment cost index determines the U.S. military pay scale known as the Allowable Rate. The next level up in the military pay scale is called the ” Sergeant Major”. At the top of this scale is“Colonel” ” Colonel”. When you attain the rank of Colonel, it means that you will be considered a General and will be accountable for your entire army and whole staff. In this position, you will also receive the most money per day. At higher levels, you can expect to receive a number of of paid leave per month.

Pay increase at this level are calculated based on the army cost of living index. This is an attempt to account for the rising of the cost of living. If a location has a high index, the cost of living is predicted to be greater than when the Index is not high. This causes an increase in the amount of pay paid to military personnel who have a high education and had similar promotions and increases that are comparable to those in lower pay grades. Personnel who are promoted to positions below their pay grade are not given a raise.

Officers who hold both a in the enlisted and commissioned ranks receive a promotion to a Warrant Officer. The pay they receive at this rank is based on their commission rating, which is usually above the grade of their current star. Higher levels of command such as Colonel both enlisted and commissioned officers can receive an upgrade to Colonel. When they are upgraded to Colonel, all commissioned officers will be eligible for general promotion. That means, those who’ve before been promoted as a General will be eligible for a promotion to a Vice Captain or Major.

Also, the increments in pay for Specialties increases every two years. It is necessary to be in the top 20 percent of your class to be promoted to a Specialized pay grade. The pay grades are Technician Radio Technician, Computer Networking Specialist as well as Information Technology Specialist. Those with any of these pay grades could apply to be a surgeon technician or Medical Assistant when they’ve completed the required number that have served in the past and reached the appropriate promotion level.
