An index of the cost of employment determines what is known as the U.S. military pay scale known as The Allowable Rate. The index is found through the analysis of the demand for enlisted troops as well as permanent and temporary military retirees for 100 active-duty soldiers. After considering these factors, the rate is adjusted so that it will be based on the needs of each group for a stable workforce. This technique is used to determine a basic military salary that is then used in every branch.

It is the U.S army has its ranking method in operation. Its ranks are set from the rank of First Lieutenant and the upper levels and comprise officers such as sergeants, lieutenants (colonels), lieutenants and majors. In the army, three levels are in order from highest to lowest through the order of the commander. They are called the “major”, “first lieutenant,” and “second lieutenant”.

The other pay scale employed in the army is called the First Major, First Lieutenant, Second Lieutenant, and the list goes on. It ranks individuals in various areas of work in the different wings that comprise the Army. For example, lower-ranked individuals within their respective divisions of the Marine Corps will be considered Officers Reserved or Officers Regular. However, higher-ranking individuals are classified as Specialists or Officers Special. Furthermore, those working in the Air Force will be considered Officers Air Recruits. Likewise, those who are in the Navy will be considered Officers Navy or Officers Waterman.

The next step in the pay scale for military personnel is the ” Sergeant Major”. The topmost ladder is the ” Colonel”. If you are a Colonel, you will rank as a General and will oversee all of the military and the entire staff. In this position, you will also receive the most money per day. As you progress, you will be able to enjoy a number of paid days of holiday per month.

Pay increments at this level are in accordance with the military’s cost of labor index. This is a way to accommodate for the increase of living costs. When an area has a high index, the cost of living will be expected to be more expensive than when the cost index falls. This results in an increase in the salaries of military personnel who are highly educated . They have experienced similar promotions and pay rises as those who are in lower pay grades. Personnel who are promoted to the lower ranks of their pay get no raise.

Officers who have both in the enlisted and commissioned ranks receive an increase to the rank of Warrant Officer. The pay they receive when they reach this level is determined by their commission rating which is usually higher than the grade of their real star. When they reach higher levels of the command that include Colonels, both commissioned and enlisted officers are entitled to being promoted to Colonel. Once they have been upgraded to Colonel, all officers who are commissioned will be eligible for general promotion. This means that those who’ve previously been promoted to a General will be eligible for promotions to Vice Captain or a Major.

Lastly, the pay increases for Specialties are increased twice a year. You need to be among the top 20 percent of your enlistment class in order to earn an Advanced pay grade. The pay grades are Technician Radio Technician, Computer Networking Specialist, and Information Technology Specialist. People who have any of these pay grade specializations are eligible to apply for the position of surgical technician or Medical Assistant when they have reached the required number hours of work experience and have achieved the level of promotion required.
