The next stage in the pay scale for military personnel is called the ” Sergeant Major”. The topmost ladder is“Colonel” ” Colonel”. At Colonel rank, you will be considered a General and have the responsibility for the entire military and the whole staff. At this level you’ll also receive the highest pay per day. At higher levels, you will also receive the most number of of paid holiday per month.
Pay increases at this point are determined by the military cost index for employment. This is a way to account for the rising of living costs. If a location has an index of high value, the cost of living is likely to be higher than when the index is less. This can result in an increase in the salaries of military personnel who are highly educated and who have experienced similar promotions and raises like those in lower pay grades. People who are promoted to lower pay grades receive no increment.
Officers with employed and enlisted are given the opportunity to be promoted to Warrant Officer. The salary they earn with this title is based on the actual rating of their commission and is typically above the level of their actual star. At higher levels of leadership such as Colonel both commissioned, and enlisted officers will be eligible for the rank of Colonel. Following an upgrade to Colonel, all commissioned officers will be eligible for general promotion. That means, those who’ve had a previous promotion to General are eligible for a promotion to Vice Captain or a Major.
Also, the increments in pay for Specialties increase every two years. It is necessary to be in the top 20 percent of your enlistment class to qualify for a Specialized pay grade. These pay grades include Technician Radio Technician Computer Networking Specialist as well as Information Technology Specialist. Those with any of these pay grade specializations can apply to become a surgeon technician or Medical Assistant after they’ve had the number hours of work experience and attained the necessary promotion level.
