A cost of employment index is what is known as the U.S. military pay scale called“Allowed” Rate. The next step in the pay scale for military personnel is the ” Sergeant Major”. The topmost level is called“Colonel” ” Colonel”. If you are a Colonel, you become a General and will have responsibility for your entire army and entire staff. At this level you’ll also be able to receive the most salary per day. Higher levels will be able to enjoy the most number of of paid holiday per month.

Pay increases at this rate are dependent on the military’s cost of living index. This allows you to accommodate for the increase of living expenses. If a location has an index that is high, the cost of living is expected to be much more than when the index is less. This causes an increase in the amount of pay paid to military personnel who are educated and have who have experienced similar promotions and increases similar to those at lower pay levels. Promotions in lower pay grades receive no additional pay.

Officers with engaged and commissioned receive a promotion to a Warrant Officer. The pay they receive in this grade is determined by their commission rating that is typically higher than the rank of their actual star. Higher ranks of command like Colonel, both enlisted and commissioned officers will be eligible for advancement to the rank of Colonel. After an upgrade to Colonel, all commissioned officers can apply for general promotions. So, officers who have already been elevated to General will be eligible for a promotion to a Vice Captain or Major.

The pay increases for Specialties will increase every two years. You have to be among the top 20 percent of your class to be promoted to a Specialized pay grade. The pay grades are Technician Radio Technician, Computer Networking Specialist and Information Technology Specialist. Anyone with one of these specialty pay grades may apply to become a surgical technician or Medical Assistant, once they’ve completed the necessary number of years of service and reached the minimum level for promotion.
