Army Reserve Pay E4 – The U.S. Military PayScale is the standard salary scale used by everyone in the military forces. U.S. military pay scales are used as the main gauge for determining the amount of pay. Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps are the branches that employ the military pay scale. Each of these branches has specific laws that govern its pay grade. These include bonuses and pay considerations for seniority.

An employment cost index determines how much the U.S. military pay scale called The Allowable Rate. The index is determined by looking at the requirements for enlisted employees permanently, permanent personnel, and temporary military retirees per 100 active-duty military personnel. When considering these aspects The rate is then adjusted to give a percentage that considers the strength requirements for each group for a stable workforce. This process is used to set a basic military pay that is later applied in each branch.

It is the U.S army has its own ranking system in place. The ranks are decided by the First Lieutenant or above and comprise officers such as Sergeants, lieutenants, Colonels and majors. In the army, there are three levels ordered from the top to the bottom in the chain of command. They are called the “major”, “first lieutenant,” and “second lieutenant”.

The second pay scale used by the army is the First Major First Lieutenant, First Lieutenant, and so on. These pay scales rank people in various specialties within the different branches in the military. For instance, people with lower ranks in those in the Marine Corps will be considered officers placed in reserve or Officers Regular. On the other hand, those with higher ranks are classified as Specialists or Officers Special. In addition, those employed in the Air Force will be considered Officers Air Recruits and those who are in the Navy will be classified as Officers Navy or Officers Waterman.

The next step up the pay scale for military personnel is the ” Sergeant Major”. The topmost level is called the ” Colonel”. As a Colonel, will be a general and be responsible for all military personnel and the entire staff. At this rank, you will also receive the most money per day. As you progress, you will receive a number of of paid vacation per month.

Pay increments at this level are dependent on the cost of living index. This allows you to accommodate for the increase of the cost of living. In areas with high cost index, the cost of living is anticipated to be greater than when the cost Index is not high. This will result in an increase of the amount of pay paid to military personnel with a higher education level and experienced similar promotions and pay rises as those who are in lower pay grades. Personnel who are promoted to posts below their pay grade receive no increase.

Officers who are both employed and enlisted are given the opportunity to be promoted to Warrant Officer. The salary they earn at this rank is determined by the commission they receive, which is usually above that of their real star. Higher ranks of command including Colonel, both commissioned, and enlisted officers will be eligible for promotions to Colonel. When they are upgraded to Colonel, all officers who are commissioned are eligible for general promotions. Therefore, those who have prior to that been upgraded to General are eligible for a promotion to a Vice Captain or a Major.

The pay increases for Specialties go up twice a year. You have to be in the top 20 percent of your class to qualify for an advanced pay grade. These pay grades include Technician, Radio Technician, Computer Networking Specialist, as well as Information Technology Specialist. The people who have any of these specialty pay grades may apply to become a surgeon technician or Medical Assistant when they’ve completed the required number in years served and attained the necessary promotion level.
