Army Reserve Pay Schedule – The U.S. Military PayScale is the standard salary scale used by everyone in the military forces. U.S. military pay scales are used as the main gauge for determining the amount of compensation. Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps are the branches which use the scale of pay used by military personnel. Each of these branches has specific laws that govern its pay grade. These include bonuses and pay considerations for seniority.
The index for employment costs establishes what is known as the U.S. military pay scale known as The Allowable Rate. The index is determined by studying the demand for enlisted personnel as well as permanent and temporary military retirees per 100 active-duty soldiers. When considering these aspects, the rate is adjusted to create a figure that will be based on the needs for each group to ensure that there is a sufficient number of workers. This is the method used to determine a basic military salary that is then applied to every branch.
The U.S army has its rank system in place. Its ranks are established at the level of the First Lieutenant and up and comprise officers such as sergeants, lieutenants and Colonels and majors. Within the army, three levels are classified from the highest to the lowest in the chain of command. They are known as “major”, “first lieutenant,” and “second lieutenant”.
The second pay scale used by the army is First Major, First Lieutenant, Second Lieutenant and then on. This ranks the people working in different areas of service within the different branches that comprise the Army. For example, those who are lower-ranked within military units like the Marine Corps will be considered officers placed in reserve or Officers Regular. On the other hand, those with higher ranks will be classified as Officers Special or Specialists. In addition, those in the Air Force will be considered Officers Air Recruits. Likewise, those in the Navy are classified as Officers Navy or Officers Waterman.
The next step in the military pay scale is called the ” Sergeant Major”. The topmost level is called“Colonel” ” Colonel”. When you reach the rank of Colonel, you will be promoted to General and will be accountable for the entire military and the entire staff. In this position, you will also receive the most salary per day. At higher levels, you will receive an increased number of paid days of holidays per year.
Pay increases at this rate are based on the military cost of labor index. This allows you to take into account the rise of living costs. If a location has an index of high value, the cost of living will be expected to be significantly higher than when the cost index falls. This will result in an increase of the salary of military personnel with a higher education level and had similar promotions and raises like those in lower pay levels. For those who have promotions in areas below their paygrade get no raise.
Officers that are both an enlisted and commissioned rank get an increase to the rank of Warrant Officer. The salary they earn with this title is determined by the actual rating of their commission that is typically higher than the grade of their real star. At higher levels of command such as Colonel both enlisted and commissioned officers will be entitled to an upgrade to Colonel. Following an upgrade to Colonel, all commissioned officers can be promoted to general. Therefore, those who have before been promoted as General will be qualified to be promoted to a Vice Captain or Major.
In addition, the salaries for Specialties are increased in every couple of years. It is necessary to be in the top twenty percent of your enlistment class to gain promotion to an specialized pay grade. These pay grades include Technician, Radio Technician, Computer Networking Specialist and Information Technology Specialist. The people who have any of these pay levels can apply to become a surgical technician or Medical Assistant when they’ve reached the required number to years working and achieved the level of promotion required.
