At Colonel rank, you will be promoted to General and will oversee all military personnel and the entire staff. As a Colonel you also get the highest amount of pay per day. Higher levels will receive a number of days of paid leave per month.
Pay increments at this level are in accordance with the military’s employment cost index. This is a way to reflect the increasing of the cost of living. When a region has an index that is high, the cost of living is predicted to be greater than when the cost index is low.
