Army Reserve Weekend Pay – The U.S. Military PayScale is the basic salary scale used by every member of the armed forces. U.S. military pay scales serve as the primary gauge for determining the amount of compensation. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps are the branches that use the military pay scale. Each of these branches has specific rules that define its pay scale. This includes bonuses and special pay consideration for seniority.

An index of cost of employment establishes an U.S. military pay scale known as the Allowable Rate. The index is calculated by looking at the demands for enlisted personnel as well as permanent personnel and temporary military retirees for 100 active-duty military personnel. After taking into account these factors, the rate is adjusted so that it assumes the strength requirements for each group in order to guarantee a sufficient workforce. This process is used to set a basic military pay that is later applied in every branch.

The U.S army has its own ranking process in place. The ranks are established from the rank of First Lieutenant, and beyond and comprise officers such as Colonels, lieutenants, sergeants, and majors. Within the army, three levels are ordered from the top to the bottom in the chain of command. They are referred to as “major”, “first lieutenant,” and “second lieutenant”.

The other pay scale used within the army are the First Major First Lieutenant, Second Lieutenant and others. It ranks individuals in various areas of service within the different branches in the military. For instance, those with lower ranks within the Marine Corps will be considered Officers Placed In Reserve, or Officers Regular. In contrast, upper-ranked individuals will be classified as Specialists or Officers Special. In addition, those in the Air Force will be considered Officers Air Recruiters and those in the Navy will be classified as Officers Navy or Officers Waterman.

The next level in the pay scale of the military is called the ” Sergeant Major”. The topmost rung is known as“Colonel” ” Colonel”. In the Colonel rank, you will be considered a General and will be accountable for the entire military as well as the entire staff. In this position you also get the most pay per day. At higher levels, can expect to receive the most number of paid days of annual vacation.

Pay rises at this point are dependent on the cost of employment. This is an attempt to take into account the rise of the cost of living. When a region has one with a high cost index, the costs of living are expected to be much more than when the cost index falls. This leads to an increase in the compensation of military members who are highly educated and had similar promotions and raises similar to those of lower pay levels. Personnel who are promoted to areas below their paygrade receive no increment.

Officers that are both employed and enlisted are given an increase to the rank of Warrant Officer. The salary they earn when they reach this level is determined by their commission rating, which is usually above the rank of their actual star. In higher ranks of command like Colonel, both commissioned, and enlisted officers are entitled to an upgrade to Colonel. Once they have been upgraded to Colonel, all commissioned officers can apply for general promotions. Thus, those who have previously been promoted to General are eligible for a promotion to Vice Captain or a Major.

In addition, the salaries for Specialties increase  every two years. It is necessary to be in the top twenty percent of your enlistment class to be promoted to an Advanced pay grade. These pay grades include Technician, Radio Technician Computer Networking Specialist, as well as Information Technology Specialist. If you have one of these specialty paygrades can apply to become Surgical Technician, or a Medical Assistant, once they’ve completed the necessary number in years served and have reached the appropriate promotion level.
