A cost of employment index is an U.S. military pay scale known as“Allowed” Rate. The index is found using the demand for enlisted personnel permanently, permanent personnel, and temporary military retirees per 100 active-duty military personnel. After considering these parameters to determine the appropriate rate, it is adjusted to provide a rate that will be based on the needs of each group to ensure a sufficient workforce. This technique is used to fix a basic rate of military pay that is later applied in each branch.

It is the U.S army has its ranking procedure in force. Its ranks are formulated in the hands of the First Lieutenant or above and comprise officers such as sergeants, lieutenants (colonels), lieutenants, and majors. In the army, three levels are placed from top to bottom in the chain of command. They are known as “major”, “first lieutenant,” and “second lieutenant”.

The other pay scale used by the army is the First Major First Lieutenant, Second Lieutenant and then on. This ranks people in different areas of service within the different branches in the military. For example, the lower-ranking individual’s  in those in the Marine Corps will be considered Officers in Reserve or Officers Regular. While those with higher rank will be classified as Specialists or Officers Special. Additionally, those who are in the Air Force will be considered Officers Air Recruiters and those who are in the Navy will be regarded as Officers Navy or Officers Waterman.

The next step in the military pay scale is called the ” Sergeant Major”. The topmost level is called“Colonel” ” Colonel”. In the Colonel rank, you will be promoted to General and will have responsibility for the entire military and the entire staff. At this level, you will also receive the most pay per day. In higher ranks, you will also receive a number of paid days of time off per calendar month.

Pay increases at this level are in accordance with the military’s cost of employment. This is an attempt to keep track of the rate of inflation of living expenses. In areas with a high index, the costs of living are expected to be significantly higher than when the of living index is very low. This is a reason for an increase the salary of military personnel who have high educational qualifications and had similar promotions and rises as those who are in lower paygrades. People who are promoted to positions below their pay grade receive no additional pay.

Officers who hold both a employed and enlisted are given an advancement to a Warrant Officer. The pay they receive at this rank is based on their actual commission score which is usually greater than the grade of their real star. In higher ranks of command like Colonel both enlisted and commissioned officers can be eligible for the rank of Colonel. When they are upgraded to Colonel, all officers who are commissioned can be promoted to general. Therefore, those who have already been elevated to a General will be capable of being promoted to a Vice Captain or a Major.

Lastly, the pay increases for Specialties are increased approximately every two years. You must be in the top twenty percent of your enlistment class to gain promotion to a Specialized pay grade. These pay grades include Technician, Radio Technician, Computer Networking Specialist, and Information Technology Specialist. The people who have any of these specialty pay grades can apply to become surgeon technician or Medical Assistant once they’ve completed the necessary number to years working and achieved the level of promotion required.
