An employment cost index establishes what is known as the U.S. military pay scale called“the Allowable Rate. The index is determined by looking at the amount of enlisted members as well as permanent and temporary military retirees for 100 active duty personnel. After analyzing these variables and adjusting the rate so that it relies on the strength requirements of each group for a stable workforce. This technique is used to establish a base military pay that is then applied to every branch.

It is the U.S army has its ranking procedure in force. The ranks are determined through the first lieutenant or above and comprise officers such as Colonels, lieutenants, sergeants, and majors. In the army, three levels are ordered from the top to the bottom in the chain of command. They are called the “major”, “first lieutenant,” and “second lieutenant”.

Another pay scale utilized by the army is the First Major First Lieutenant, Second Lieutenant and other ranks. This ranks people in different fields of service in the various wings in the military. For example, the lower-ranking individual’s  in military units like the Marine Corps will be considered Officers Placed In Reserve, or Officers Regular. In contrast, upper-ranked individuals will be classified as Officers Special or Specialists. Furthermore, those working in the Air Force will be considered Officers Air Recruits and those who are in the Navy will be classified as Officers Navy or Officers Waterman.

The next level in the pay scale for military personnel is the ” Sergeant Major”. The topmost rung is known as“Colonel” ” Colonel”. When you attain the rank of Colonel, it means that you become a General and will be in charge of the entire military and whole staff. At this rank you’ll also receive the most pay per day. In higher ranks, you are entitled to the most number of of paid holidays per year.

This is a reason for an increase the pay for military members who are highly educated and experienced similar promotions and pay raises similar to those of lower pay levels. People who are promoted to lower pay grades receive no increase.
