This leads to an increase in the compensation of military members who have a high education and received similar promotions and increments that are similar to those in lower pay grades. Officers with an enlisted and commissioned rank get an increase to the rank of Warrant Officer. The salary they earn for this position is determined by their actual commission score which is usually greater than the rank of their actual star. When they reach higher levels of the command like Colonel both enlisted and commissioned officers are entitled to advancement to the rank of Colonel. Thus, those who have earlier been promoted to General will be eligible for promotions to Vice Captain or a Major.
