Additionally, the salary increases for Specialties rise approximately every two years. You have to be among the top 20 percent of your enlistment class to be promoted to the pay grade of Specialized. The pay grades are Technician Radio Technician, Computer Networking Specialist, as well as Information Technology Specialist.
