A cost of employment index is this U.S. military pay scale known as the Allowable Rate. The index is found by studying the demand for enlisted troops as well as permanent and temporary military retirees per 100 active-duty personnel. After analyzing these variables then the rate is adjusted to give a percentage that assumes the strength requirements of each of these groups for a stable workforce. This method is used to fix a basic rate of military pay that is then applied to every branch.

It is the U.S army has its own ranking procedure in force. The ranks are established in the hands of the First Lieutenant or above and include officers like Sergeants, lieutenants, Colonels, and majors. In the army, there are three levels placed from top to bottom at the bottom of the rank chain. They are known as the “major”, “first lieutenant,” and “second lieutenant”.

The other pay scale employed by the army is the First Major, First Lieutenant, Second Lieutenant, and then on. This ranks people in different specialties within the different wings that comprise the Army. For example, individuals with lower rank in those in the Marine Corps will be considered officers placed in reserve or Officers Regular. On the other hand, those with higher ranks will be classified as Officers Special or Specialists. In addition, those in the Air Force will be considered Officers Air Recruiters and those who are in the Navy are regarded as Officers Navy or Officers Waterman.

The next level up in the pay scale for military personnel is the ” Sergeant Major”. At the top of this ladder is“Colonel” ” Colonel”. As a Colonel, will rank as a General and have the responsibility for the entire military and entire staff. In this position you also get the most money per day. At higher levels, will be able to enjoy the most number of days of paid leave per month.

Pay increments at this level are dependent on the military’s index of cost of employment. This is a way to adjust for the inflation of the cost of living. In areas with an index that is high, then the cost of living is expected to be higher than when the Index is not high. This leads to an increase in the wages of military personnel with a higher education level and experienced similar promotions and pay increments that are similar to those in lower pay levels. The ones who are promoted in lower pay grades get no raise.

Officers that are both commissioning and enlisted receive an increase to the rank of Warrant Officer. The amount they are paid with this title is based on their actual commission rating, which is usually above the grade of their current star. At higher levels of command such as Colonel both commissioned and enlisted officers are entitled to being promoted to Colonel. When they are upgraded to Colonel, all officers commissioned are eligible for general promotions. Thus, those who have prior to that been upgraded to General will be eligible to receive a promotion to Vice Captain or a Major.

The pay increases for Specialties go up every two years. You need to be in the top 20 percent of your class to gain promotion to an specialized pay grade. These pay grades include Technician, Radio Technician Computer Networking Specialist, and Information Technology Specialist. Those with any of these pay levels can apply to become a surgical technician, or Medical Assistant after they’ve completed the required number or years in service, and have achieved the level of promotion required.
