On the other hand, those with higher ranks are classified as Specialists or Officers Special. Also, those in the Air Force will be considered Officers Air Recruits, while those in the Navy will be classified as Officers Navy or Officers Waterman.
The next rung on the pay scale for military personnel is the ” Sergeant Major”. The topmost rank is“Colonel” ” Colonel”. When you reach the rank of Colonel, you will be promoted to General and will oversee the entire military and the entire staff. At this level you’ll also receive the highest amount of pay per day. As you progress, you will receive a number of paid days of vacation per month.
Pay rises at this point are dependent on the index of cost of employment. This allows you to account for the rising of costs of living. In areas with an index that is high, the cost of living is predicted to be significantly higher than when the index is less. This leads to an increase in the compensation of military members with a higher education level and who have experienced similar promotions and rises as those who are in lower pay grades. The ones who are promoted in lower pay grades receive no increase.
Officers that are both an enlisted and commissioned rank get an upgrade to Warrant Officer. The pay they receive with this title is based on the commission they receive which is usually greater than the grade of their current star. Higher ranks of command, such as Colonel, both commissioned, and enlisted officers can be eligible for promotions to Colonel. Once they have been upgraded to Colonel, all commissioned officers are eligible for general promotions. Therefore, those who have before been promoted as a General are eligible to receive a promotion to a Vice Captain or Major.
Additionally, the salary increases for Specialties increases in every couple of years. You must be in the top 20 percent of your enlistment class in order to earn an advanced pay grade. These pay grades include Technician, Radio Technician Computer Networking Specialist, and Information Technology Specialist. If you have one of these specialty pay grades are eligible to apply for the position of surgical technician, or Medical Assistant once they’ve completed the necessary number hours of work experience and completed the required level of promotion.
