The next stage in the pay scale of the military is called the ” Sergeant Major”. At the top of this scale is the ” Colonel”. In the Colonel rank, you are a general and have the responsibility for all of the military and the whole staff. At this rank you’ll also receive the most money per day. In higher ranks, you will also receive the most number of of paid leave per month.
Pay rises at this point are determined by the military employment cost index. This allows you to accommodate for the increase of costs of living. When an area is characterized by a high index, the cost of living is anticipated to be more expensive than when the Index is not high. This results in an increase in the pay for military members who are educated and have who have experienced similar promotions and raises like those in lower pay grades. Promotions in positions below their pay grade receive no increase.
Officers who are both in the enlisted and commissioned ranks receive promotions to Warrant Officer. The pay grades are Technician, Radio Technician Computer Networking Specialist, as well as Information Technology Specialist.
