Pay increments at this level are in accordance with the military’s cost index for employment. This is a way to account for the rising of the cost of living. Lastly, the pay increases for Specialties increase twice a year. You must be among the top 20 percent of your class to get promoted to the pay grade of Specialized. The pay grades are Technician, Radio Technician Computer Networking Specialist, as well as Information Technology Specialist.
