As a Colonel, will be promoted to General and will oversee the entire military and the entire staff. At this rank, you will also receive the most amounts of money per day. Higher levels will also receive the most number of of paid holiday per month.
Pay increases at this point are based on the military cost of living index. This is an attempt to take into account the rise of living expenses.
