The next rung on the pay scale of the military is the ” Sergeant Major”. At the top of this rank is“Colonel” ” Colonel”. In the Colonel rank, you will be considered a General and will be in charge of your entire army and whole staff. As a Colonel it is also possible to earn the highest pay per day. At higher levels, can expect to receive a number of days of paid holidays per year.

Finally, the increases in pay for Specialties increase twice a year. You must be among the top 20 percent of your class in order to earn the Specialized pay grade. The pay grades are Technician Radio Technician Computer Networking Specialist, as well as Information Technology Specialist. Those with any of these pay grades could apply to be a surgeon technician or Medical Assistant, after they’ve reached the required number in years served and reached the minimum level for promotion.
