The next step up the pay scale for military personnel is the ” Sergeant Major”. At the top of this ladder is“Colonel” ” Colonel”. When you attain the rank of Colonel, it means that you will be considered a General and have the responsibility for all of the military and the entire staff. At this level you’ll also earn the most amounts of money per day. At higher levels, you will receive an increased number of paid days of holiday per month.

Pay increase at this level are dependent on the cost of labor index. This allows you to account for the rising of living expenses. When an area is characterized by an index that is high, the costs of living are expected to be much higher than when the cost Index is not high. This will result in an increase of the salary of military personnel who have high educational qualifications and who have experienced similar promotions and rises as those who are in lower pay levels. The ones who are promoted in the lower ranks of their pay receive no additional pay.

Officers who are in the enlisted and commissioned ranks receive a promotion to a Warrant Officer. The salary they earn in this grade is based on the actual rating of their commission and is typically above the rank of their actual star. At higher levels of leadership like Colonel both commissioned, and enlisted officers will be eligible for an upgrade to Colonel. After a promotion to Colonel, all officers who are commissioned are eligible for general promotion. So, officers who have already been elevated to a General will be qualified for promotion to a Vice Captain or Major.

In addition, the salaries for Specialties increase at least every 2 years. You must be in the top twenty percent of your enlistment class to qualify for the pay grade of Specialized. These pay grades include Technician Radio Technician, Computer Networking Specialist, and Information Technology Specialist. The people who have any of these specialty paygrades can apply to become surgical technician or Medical Assistant after they’ve completed the required number hours of work experience and reached the appropriate promotion level.
