A cost of employment index is this U.S. military pay scale called“the Allowable Rate. The index is found by studying the demand for enlisted personnel or permanent employees, as well as temporary military retirees per 100 active-duty military personnel. After taking into account these factors to determine the appropriate rate, it is adjusted to create a figure that assumes the strength requirements of each group for a stable workforce. This process is used to create a basic military wage which is then utilized in every branch.

The U.S army has its ranking structure in place. Its ranks are formulated from the rank of First Lieutenant and up and comprise officers such as Sergeants, lieutenants, Colonels, and majors. In the army, there are three levels ordered from the top to the bottom in the chain of command. They are called the “major”, “first lieutenant,” and “second lieutenant”.

The other pay scale that is utilized within the army are the First Major, First Lieutenant, Second Lieutenant and other ranks. The pay scale ranks individuals across different areas of service within the different branches in the military. For instance, those with lower ranks in those in the Marine Corps will be considered officers placed in reserve or Officers Regular. While those with higher rank are classified as Officers Special or Specialists. Furthermore, those working in the Air Force will be considered Officers Air Recruits, while those who are in the Navy will be considered Officers Navy or Officers Waterman.

The next step in the pay scale of the military is called the ” Sergeant Major”. The topmost ladder is the ” Colonel”. When you attain the rank of Colonel, it means that you will be promoted to General and will be in charge of the entire military and the whole staff. At this rank, you will also receive the most amounts of money per day. At higher levels, you are entitled to the most number of of paid holiday per month.

Pay increments at this level are determined by the military cost of living index. This is a way to take into account the rise of the cost of living. In areas with high cost index, the cost of living is likely to be significantly higher than when the cost index falls. This is a reason for an increase the salary of military personnel who are educated and have experienced similar promotions and pay raises similar to those of lower pay levels. Promotions in jobs that are not in their pay grade have no pay increase.

Officers that are both commissioning and enlisted receive the opportunity to be promoted to Warrant Officer. The amount they are paid at this rank is determined by their actual commission ratings, which is usually above the grade of their real star. At higher levels of leadership including Colonel, both commissioned and enlisted officers are eligible for being promoted to Colonel. After an upgrade to Colonel, all officers commissioned can be promoted to general. For example, those who’ve previously been promoted to a General are capable of being promoted to a Vice Captain or Major.

Lastly, the pay increases for Specialties will increase twice a year. You have to be in the top twenty percent of your class to be promoted to an Advanced pay grade. The pay grades are Technician, Radio Technician, Computer Networking Specialist and Information Technology Specialist. Those with any of these pay levels may apply to become a surgical technician, or Medical Assistant, after they have reached the required number hours of work experience and have reached the appropriate promotion level.
