My Army My Pride – The U.S. Military PayScale is the standard salary scale for all members of the armed forces. U.S. military pay scales serve as the primary gauge for determining the amount of compensation. Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps are the branches that employ the scale of pay used by military personnel. Each of these branches has specific laws that govern its pay scale. This includes bonuses and other special payment considerations for seniors.

An index of the cost of employment determines what is known as the U.S. military pay scale called“the Allowable Rate. The index is determined using the amount of enlisted members as well as permanent and temporary military retirees per 100 active-duty soldiers. After taking into account these factors and adjusting the rate in order to produce a figure that considers the strength requirements for each group to guarantee an adequate workforce. This method is employed to set a basic military pay which is later used in every branch.

The U.S army has a ranking procedure in force. Its ranks are established through the first lieutenant or above and comprise officers such as sergeants, lieutenants or Colonels, and majors. In the army, there are three levels in order from highest to lowest within the command chain. They are referred to as the “major”, “first lieutenant,” and “second lieutenant”.

The second pay scale used by the army is First Major First Lieutenant, Second Lieutenant and other ranks. The pay scale ranks individuals across different areas of service within the various wings that comprise the Army. For instance, those with lower ranks in The Marine Corps will be considered Officers in Reserve or Officers Regular. For those who are higher-ranked, they will be classified as Officers Special or Specialists. Also, those in the Air Force will be considered Officers Air Recruiters and those in the Navy are classified as Officers Navy or Officers Waterman.

The next step up the pay scale for military personnel is called the ” Sergeant Major”. At the top of this rank is the ” Colonel”. At Colonel rank, you will be promoted to General and have the responsibility for the entire military and the whole staff. As a Colonel, you will also receive the highest pay per day. As you progress, you will receive the most number of paid days of annual vacation.

Pay increments at this level are dependent on the military’s cost of living index. This is an attempt to take into account the rise of costs of living. If a location has one with a high cost index, the cost of living will be expected to be more expensive than when the of living index is very low. This can result in an increase in the salaries of military personnel who are highly educated and who have experienced similar promotions and raises like those in lower pay levels. Those who are promoted in positions below their pay grade receive no increase.

Officers who are an enlisted and commissioned rank get an increase to the rank of Warrant Officer. The pay they receive for this position is determined by the actual rating of their commission which is usually higher than the actual star. Higher ranks of command like Colonel both enlisted and commissioned officers can receive advancement to the rank of Colonel. After a promotion to Colonel, all officers who are commissioned can be promoted to general. This means that those who’ve already been elevated to General will be qualified to be promoted to Vice Captain or Major.

Also, the increments in pay for Specialties are increased every two years. It is necessary to be among the top 20 percent of your class to be promoted to an advanced pay grade. The pay grades are Technician, Radio Technician Computer Networking Specialist as well as Information Technology Specialist. People who have any of these specialties pay grades may apply to become a surgical technician, or Medical Assistant once they have reached the required number of years of service and have achieved the level of promotion required.
