They are known as the “major”, “first lieutenant,” and “second lieutenant”.

The second pay scale used in the army is First Major, First Lieutenant, Second Lieutenant, and other ranks. This is a way of grading people across various sectors of service in different wings in the military. For example, those who are lower-ranked within The Marine Corps will be considered Officers Placed In Reserve, or Officers Regular. On the other hand, those with higher ranks are classified as Specialists or Officers Special. In addition, individuals in the Air Force will be considered Officers Air Recruits, while those who are in the Navy are classified as Officers Navy or Officers Waterman.

The next level up in the pay scale for military personnel is the ” Sergeant Major”. The topmost step is known as“Colonel” ” Colonel”. In the Colonel rank, you are a general and have the responsibility for all military personnel and the whole staff. At this level you’ll also earn the highest pay per day. At higher levels, can expect to receive the most number of of paid vacation per month.

Pay increases at this point are dependent on the military’s employment cost index. This is a method to account for the rising in living expenses. If an area has one with a high cost index, the costs of living are expected to be greater than when the cost index is less. This can result in an increase in the salaries of military personnel who are highly educated . They have had similar promotions and raises like those in lower pay grades. People who are promoted to posts below their pay grade get no raise.

Officers who are in the enlisted and commissioned ranks receive an advancement to a Warrant Officer. The pay they receive at this rank is based on their commission rating that is generally higher than the level of their actual star. When they reach higher levels of the command like Colonel both commissioned and enlisted officers are entitled to a promotion to a Colonel. Following an upgrade to Colonel, all officers commissioned can be promoted to general. That means, those who’ve previously been promoted to General are qualified to be promoted to a Vice Captain or a Major.

Lastly, the pay increases for Specialties increase  every two years. You have to be in the top twenty percent of your class to qualify for an Advanced pay grade. The pay grades are Technician, Radio Technician, Computer Networking Specialist and Information Technology Specialist. People who have any of these specialty pay grades could apply to be a surgical technician, or Medical Assistant, once they’ve reached the minimum number that have served in the past and have attained the necessary promotion level.
