Mypay Army Reserves – The U.S. Military PayScale is the standard salary scale used by all members of the armed forces. U.S. military pay scales are used as the main instrument for measuring personnel pay. Army, Navy, Air Force as well as Marine Corps are the branches which utilize the pay scales used by the military. It is the U.S army has its own ranking structure in place. Its ranks are established with the help of First Lieutenant and higher and include officers like Lieutenants, Colonels, sergeants, and majors. In the army, three levels are placed from top to bottom within the command chain. They are referred to as “major”, “first lieutenant,” and “second lieutenant”.

The second pay scale used within the army are the First Major First Lieutenant, First Lieutenant, and so on. The pay scale ranks individuals across different sectors of service in different branches that comprise the Army. For example, lower-ranked individuals in that section of the Marine Corps will be considered Officers placed in Reserve or Officers Regular. While those with higher rank are classified as Officers Special or Specialists. In addition, individuals in the Air Force will be considered Officers Air Recruits, while those in the Navy will be classified as Officers Navy or Officers Waterman.

The next step up the military pay scale is the ” Sergeant Major”. The topmost ladder is“Colonel” ” Colonel”. In the Colonel rank, you will be a general and will be accountable for your entire army and entire staff. At this level you’ll also be able to receive the highest amount of pay per day. As you progress, you will receive the most number of of paid time off per calendar month.

Pay increments at this level are dependent on the cost of employment. This allows you to adjust for the inflation of the cost of living. If a location has high cost index, the costs of living are expected to be significantly higher than when the cost index is low. This will result in an increase of the compensation of military members who have a high education and who have experienced similar promotions and raises like those in lower pay levels. Personnel who are promoted to the lower ranks of their pay are not given a raise.

Officers with an enlisted and commissioned rank get an increase to the rank of Warrant Officer. The pay they receive in this grade is based on their actual commission ratings that is typically higher than the grade of their current star. Higher levels of command like Colonel both enlisted and commissioned officers can receive a promotion to a Colonel. After an upgrade to a Colonel, all commissioned officers are eligible for general promotions. That means, those who’ve earlier been promoted to General will be eligible for a promotion to a Vice Captain or a Major.

Lastly, the pay increases for Specialties are increased twice a year. You have to be in the top twenty percent of your enlistment class to gain promotion to an Advanced pay grade. These pay grades include Technician, Radio Technician, Computer Networking Specialist and Information Technology Specialist. Anyone with one of these specialty paygrades are eligible to apply for the position of Surgical Technician, or a Medical Assistant once they’ve had the number to years working and have reached the required promotion level.
