Thai Military Pay Scale – The U.S. Military PayScale is the base salary scale of all personnel in the armed forces. U.S. military pay scales serve as the primary measurement tool for determining personnel compensation. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps are the branches that employ the scale of pay used by military personnel. Each of these branches have specific laws that govern its pay grade. This includes bonuses, as well as special pay considerations for seniority.

An employment cost index determines this U.S. military pay scale known as The Allowable Rate. The U.S army has its rank structure in place. The ranks are established by the First Lieutenant, and beyond and include officers like sergeants, lieutenants and Colonels and majors. In the army, there are three levels ordered from the top to the bottom in the chain of command. Another pay scale utilized within the army is the First Major First Lieutenant, Second Lieutenant and so on. It ranks individuals in various fields of service in the different wings of the army. For example, lower-ranked individuals within The Marine Corps will be considered Officers placed in Reserve or Officers Regular. While those with higher rank will be classified as Specialists or Officers Special. Additionally, those who are in the Air Force will be considered Officers Air Recruits, and those who are in the Navy will be regarded as Officers Navy or Officers Waterman.

The next step up the pay scale for military personnel is the ” Sergeant Major”. The topmost scale is the ” Colonel”. At Colonel rank, you will be a general and will be accountable for your entire army and whole staff. At this rank you’ll also be able to receive the most pay per day. If you are promoted to higher levels, you will also receive the most number of of paid leave per month.

Pay increases at this point are in accordance with the military’s cost index for employment. This is a way to reflect the increasing of the cost of living. When an area has a high index, the cost of living is expected to be greater than when the index is lower. This can result in an increase in the compensation of military members who are highly educated . They have received similar promotions and increases that are comparable to those in lower paygrades. Those who are promoted in areas below their paygrade receive no increase.

Officers who have both engaged and commissioned receive an advancement to a Warrant Officer. The pay they receive for this position is determined by the commission they receive that is typically higher than the level of their actual star. Higher levels of command such as Colonel both commissioned, and enlisted officers will be entitled to the rank of Colonel. After an upgrade to a Colonel, all commissioned officers can be promoted to general. Thus, those who have had a previous promotion to General are capable of being promoted to a Vice Captain or a Major.

Lastly, the pay increases for Specialties rise  every two years. You need to be in the top twenty percent of your enlistment class to gain promotion to the pay grade of Specialized. The pay grades are Technician Radio Technician Computer Networking Specialist, and Information Technology Specialist. The people who have any of these specialty paygrades may apply to become a Surgical Technician, or a Medical Assistant, once they have reached the required number or years in service, and reached the minimum level for promotion.
