A cost of employment index is that U.S. military pay scale known as“the Allowable Rate. The index is found using the demand for enlisted personnel permanently, permanent personnel, and temporary military retirees for 100 active-duty military personnel. When considering these aspects The rate is then adjusted to give a rate that will be based on the needs of each group for a stable workforce. This is the method used to define a minimum military pay that is then used in every branch.

The U.S army has its own ranking method in operation. The ranks are determined through the first lieutenant and above and comprise officers such as Sergeants, lieutenants, Colonels, and majors. In the army, there are three levels listed from the top to the lowest to the top of the line of command. They are referred to as the “major”, “first lieutenant,” and “second lieutenant”.

The other pay scale employed in the army is called the First Major First Lieutenant, First Lieutenant, and then on. This is a way of grading people across various specialties within the various wings that comprise the Army. For instance, those with lower ranks in the Marine Corps will be considered Officers Reserved or Officers Regular. While those with higher rank are classified as Officers Special or Specialists. Furthermore, those working in the Air Force will be considered Officers Air Recruits, and those who are in the Navy will be designated as Officers Navy or Officers Waterman.

The next level up in the pay scale for military personnel is the ” Sergeant Major”. At the top of this scale is the ” Colonel”. At Colonel rank, you will be a general and will oversee the entire military and entire staff. As a Colonel you’ll also earn the most money per day. At higher levels, you will also receive a number of days of paid leave per month.

Pay increments at this level are dependent on the military’s index of cost of employment. This is an attempt to adjust for the inflation of living expenses. When an area is characterized by an index that is high, the cost of living is predicted to be higher than when the cost of living index is very low. This can result in an increase in the amount of pay paid to military personnel who are highly educated and who have experienced similar promotions and increases that are comparable to those in lower pay grades. Promotions in posts below their pay grade receive no increment.

Officers who are employed and enlisted are given a promotion to a Warrant Officer. The amount they are paid as a Warrant Officer is based on the commission they receive which is usually greater than the level of their actual star. Higher ranks of command such as Colonel both commissioned, and enlisted officers will be eligible for an upgrade to Colonel. Following an upgrade to Colonel, all commissioned officers will qualify for general promotion. Thus, those who have prior to that been upgraded to General are qualified to be promoted to Vice Captain or a Major.

Also, the increments in pay for Specialties go up in every couple of years. You need to be in the top 20 percent of your enlistment class to get promoted to an advanced pay grade. These pay grades include Technician Radio Technician, Computer Networking Specialist and Information Technology Specialist. People who have any of these specialties pay grades may apply to become a surgical technician or Medical Assistant, after they’ve reached the required number or years in service, and have attained the necessary promotion level.
