At higher levels, you will receive the most number of paid days of vacation per month.
Pay increases at this level are based on the military cost of labor index. This allows you to accommodate for the increase in living expenses. When an area has an index that is high, the cost of living is likely to be more expensive than when the cost index falls. This is a reason for an increase the wages of military personnel who have a high education and received similar promotions and rises as those who are in lower pay levels. The ones who are promoted in the lower ranks of their pay are not given a raise.
Officers who hold both a in the enlisted and commissioned ranks receive the opportunity to be promoted to Warrant Officer. The salary they earn for this position is based on their actual commission rating which is usually greater than the actual star. In higher ranks of command, such as Colonel, both commissioned, and enlisted officers will be entitled to a promotion to a Colonel. When they are upgraded to Colonel, all officers who are commissioned are eligible for general promotions.
